Double Entendre

Salut, My name is Antoine Jouet and this is my blog on the creation of some of my art pieces that can be seen across Canada and in to Europe! I am sometimes a prankster, sometimes serious and all my works are not as they immediately seem. The layers must be peeled away!

Chalkboard Confessions

In the following series ‘Chalkboard Confessions’ I took a tongue in cheek look at the art world itself.  Rife with double entendre, sarcasm, truth, mystery, and esotericism I played upon the old notion of the chalkboard as penitence.  Utimately turning that form of penitence into a forum for speaking the truth.
